Notes: Produced by Chris Porter. Programmed by Steve McNichol. Written by Lawrence / Miles.
Oblique "Summer smash" strip also available in White (can this be the 4:02 version of Summer smash?).
No word on how many copies were, in fact, pressed.
Theories: According to the sticker on sleeve, it was to be released to radio on 18 August, 1997.
Story goes that the record label was going to release this in September 1997 but after the Princess Diana tragedy they thought it would be in bad taste to release a song with the name “Summer Smash” so it was never released.

All other tracks produced by Brian Pugsley. "Summer Smash" written by Lawrence / Miles, "Sun's Out" by Lawrence/Miles/Anderson, and "Seaside Shuffle" by John Lewis.
*Unavailable in the 7" and cassete edition.
Never released commercially, because this arrived in shops around the same time as Princess Diana's death following a car crash (29 Aug. 1997), and EMI felt that releasing it would have been in poor taste. No word on how many copies were, in fact, pressed.

Advertisements for my band - "Go-Kart Mozart have offered us their contempt. The entire album is a rag bag of contemptuous attitudes. Contempt for art - contempt for sex - contempt for their country and most especially contempt for the audience that might be listening. All this, it must be said, is not perceived through a tin ear or a dim mind, but through a widescreen composition of what ails us most, while we are lost in our fallacies displaying an acute distaste, we are forced to finally see our own reflection and scream back at it in abject terror…" (Lawrence)
